PPC Advertising for Maximum Web Promotion

Engaging in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising has its own benefits and drawbacks. But what exactly is PPC advertising and what it can do to your business?

Business nowadays is doing different kinds of austerity measures when it comes to advertising their products and services. This is because of high rates of placing ads on print and on television. But there is a fast growing approach that businessmen can utilize to bring their services closer to the people and that is through Internet Marketing.

One tool that is causing internet marketing popularity is PPC advertising. This is a technique used in search engine marketing that requires one to pay a fee every time someone clicks an ad on your website. Usually this placement is done through a bidding process. If you are a top bidder for your keywords/phrases, you are sure to be on the number one spot on all search engines. Just be sure of the effectiveness of your ad copy to get the most number of clicks you need for your business.

Here are the benefits of PPC advertising are:

  • 1. You need not be a genius in computer and technology to be able to run this ad campaign.
  • 2. Immediate results are seen after a few days.
  • 3. No need to make a website conform to the SEO rules.
  • 4. Nothing to lose even if you do not top the pages of different search engines. You can still always choose PPC advertising.
  • 5. You can make use any search engine available.
  • 6. You can type in any keyword you like.

Cons of PPC advertising includes:

  • 1. Fixed payments every month to the search engine you choose.
  • 2. Pay for each click received by your website. At times, visitors are just competitors or people playing pranks on search engines. This hassle wastes money you put in to this advertising.
  • 3. Inability to pay for the fees next month would mean removal of your website on the paid listings.
  • 4. This advertising can only be used temporarily because it is difficult to handle in the long run.
  • 5. Pay-per-click pricing can be costly for long periods of time, therefore, this should be stopped after an ad campaign.
  • But how exactly PPC advertising can increase traffic, leads and sales?

PRE-QUALIFIED TRAFFIC. All visitors of your website are already considered as a qualified consumer or buyer of your product. PPC advertising leads your customers to you for a lesser cost.

INSTANT EXPOSURE, IMMEDIATE PROFITS. PPC search engines enable you to get your desired results fast. They will have your website live within just a few hours which means immediate increase in sale.

CONSISTENT TOP LISTINGS. This is to get your website on top of the sponsored search results for free. You just have to choose the keywords related to your site and business and place them within your web pages. After this, you are done.

PPC advertising enables advertisers to control their advertising campaigns. Advertisers have effectively targeted their audience and set their own price per click. PPC advertising networks provide the platform to identify the desired audience by geographic setting, topic and industry. These networks have a list of websites of the publishers where the ads will be placed.

Tools are provided by the networks to check how the pay per click limit is working for a certain advertiser. If its still competitive, would it be even listed among the paid search lists or does it generate sales? Of course, if the advertiser made the highest bid, the better chances the ad will be seen in the search engine. These networks too provide protection for the advertisers against click fraud. This advertising set-up allows advertisers to set a daily budget for his ads, thus, less spending for unnecessary clicks. Advertiser will never go over his budget.

In PPC advertising, what are important are the keywords and phrases. You have to select at least ten "very specific" keywords that would give you the best traffic in the search. Then, write the ad creatively but straightforward. Tell the truth about your product or service and do not lie. Good thing if your product or service will not disappoint those that are relying on your ad's promise - but what if it did otherwise? Important too is the clarity of the ad. Do not use very vague languages. Include important details like the price.

You should also remember to budget your bids. Do not go overbidding because you will only lose your money and do not go so low that your ads will never get the chance to show up. Check your profit against your spending. If you see no progress then most likely you have to drop your ad campaign.

More and more advertisers have been using PPC advertising and it will continue to grow faster than any online advertising techniques. From revenues of $2.6 billion in 2004 to $5.5 billion in 2009, cost per click will dramatically go up as well from $0.29 to $0.36.

PPC advertising is new in online marketing and it is going to continue in the years to come. For advertisers, this means increase revenues with fewer advertising expenses, savings, more sales, good return of investment (ROI) and effective ad campaigns in the days to come.

    RingtoneFeeder completely reinvents iPhone ringtones

RingtoneFeeder is a new and innovative approach to iPhone ringtones offering a subscription model which automatically installs a new original ringtone on the iPhone via iTunes every week. The earlier a subscription to the service is made the bigger collection the subscriber will have. When a ringtone has been released it will not appear in the weekly updates ever again.

Once the ringtone has been synced via iTunes it is instantly available on the iPhone. The subscriber can keep all ringtones received permanently during the active subscription period even if the service is cancelled later on.

Using Smart Playlists in iTunes the user can manage the number of simultaneous ringtones to be synced to the iPhone automatically, however, the basic concept is simply to get a fresh new ringtone every week - just like getting an episode of a favorite podcast or TV show.

"We are really exited about this new concept and we are confident that the weekly iPhone ringtone we are producing will make a positive difference for the millions of iPhone users out there. Unlike traditional ringtones which are often made from extracts of songs or existing sounds, we are producing short songs that are made to be ringtones, they are unique, sometimes even topical and optimized specifically for the iPhones." said Geoff Smith, Partner and Producer at RingtoneFeeder.com "We hope to be able to make the sound of your ringtones more pleasant, maybe even put a smile on someone's face when the iPhone starts ringing."

Beside writing the lyrics and producing the original tones, RingtoneFeeder has spent considerable time identifying not only specific instruments but also testing each and every ringtone production to make sure that the tones are within a well defined sound spectrum ensuring the ringtones sounds great when the iPhone is ringing.

There is also a free demo feed available so the service can be tried out with no obligations. The free feed contains a few sample ringtones as well as an introduction video and a PDF guide to managing ringtones via iTunes.

RingtoneFeeder is currently offering two different subscription options. The monthly subscription cost is $1.98 or you can opt for a full year at $19.98 which both includes instant access to the 5 most recently produced ringtones along with at least one new ringtone usually released every Tuesday and a video tutorial about using RingtoneFeeder services, managing ringtones via Start Playlists in iTunes and syncing with the iPhone.

AutoResponse and Email Marketing Cool Tips

It's a common trend that internet marketers do whatever they can do to get the e-mail address of the people visiting their site. Here are some email marketing tips. Online, you have a really small window of opportunity to convert a visitor into a client and if they're not ready to buy whatever they're browsing on your site, it's a good idea to at least find out who they are so that you can try a different sales approach on them on another day. Just because they're not interested in what you're selling today doesn't mean you can't find something else to tickle their fancy.

You could find many more E-Mail Marketing strategies here !

There are many ways to do this such as:

    - Offer a free report with information they'll find valuable
    - Ask them to opt in to your newsletter or subscribe to your website for update
    - Intrigue them with entry into a free draw for a prize.

Once someone has signed up for something you've got a valuable e-mail address that you can use to build your list of potential customers. Once you have that e-mail address, you want to be very careful with it because otherwise it won't do much for you.

How do you stay out of the spam filter?

It's a good idea to have someone confirm before you give away anything. Many will put in a fake e-mail address just to get something for free. You can require them to confirm by receiving an e-mail from you and clicking a confirmation link. Remind them to check their junk folder and if they mark your message as not being Spam, their email software could then automatically whitelist you so that you don't land in the spam folder in future. By requesting a confirmation, you also ensure that you are getting a real e-mail address.

Autoresponder software is a good investment for anyone marketing online. Buying into a package AutoResponsePlus or something similar will help you easily manage your mailing lists. The thing is, once you have a mailing list in place and a plan that includes autoresponders, you need to work on your email content and deliverability.

Each communication you make in future with prospective client should do two things:

    1) The e-mail needs to offer them something valuable otherwise they'll unsubscribe. Give information or tips or helpful information that will have that person anxious to open future emails from you.

    2) You need a call to action line at the end which will entice them to do something you want after they close the email. This could be to visit your website with a handy link, sign up for another service, refer their friends to you or even offer a purchase link so they can buy what you're selling.

Deliverability is definitely a key factor. You want to know that your e-mails reach their recipient's email box so here are a few things you can do to increase the likelihood of your target audience actually opening your e-mail. People are fed up with Spam and using all sorts of programs and techniques to ensure they're not having to sift through spam to get to the important e-mails.

People make use of domain keys and SPF records so that they aren't getting phishing e-mails by those posing as their bank or PayPal.

People use spam filters and this helps them build the trust in their incoming messages. Once you make it past that filter, you're set.

By getting yourself whitelisted, you can increase the likelihood of being delivered to an e-mail inbox instead of a Spam folder and by buying an autoresponder product that's hosted on your own server, you can more easily get past Spam filters because if you've done your bit to get whitelisted, you'll be trusted by your recipient's e-mail server which will increase the chances of your brilliant and persuasive copy being taken seriously.

Illuminate Your Home with Wall Lights

One of the things you must consider when decorating your home is how you can create a relaxing mood and endearing atmosphere in your rooms through proper lighting. Although you might immediately think of typical Swarovski chandeliers as a surefire way to elegantly light up your home, there are still other possible types of lighting fixtures that you can make use of. For instance, wall lights placed along hallways and entryways provide good illumination sans the unsightly electric chords.

Aside from specially designed Swarovski chandeliers that can also be placed on walls, the most popular types of wall fixtures include wall scones and wall lamps. All of these have different styles and features which contribute to the versatility of wall lights.

Wall scones come in a variety of designs. Some have lampshades fixed in one position for spot lighting, while others are void of shades for the purpose of casting light up, down, or in all directions. Ideally, scones come in pairs, and flank windows, doors, and hallways.

Wall lamps are also called 'swivel arms' or task lamps. These have extended arms that you can adjust in any direction, providing adequate light for reading or doing paperwork on desks, etc. The idea behind wall lamps is to provide more tabletop space for other items such as photo frames, telephones, clocks, etc. GP

    Using Luminaires and Lustres

With the rising trend of energy efficiency and the desire to make cost-effective decisions, companies are finding ways to save. One of these means include using fluorescent lights instead of incandescent bulbs which have for years been used as the main lighting equipment. Luminaires have been used mostly for commercial as well as industrial establishments. They are lighting fixtures designed specifically for holding fluorescent lamps (and even incandescent bulbs). Fluorescent light can last years if used efficiently and uses less energy compared to incandescent light bulbs.

Luminaires are also valued for their designs. They can create a charming effect when used in the porches outside the home. Usually made of iron metal and polished glass, it can give an ornamental effect as well as the practical aspect of lighting the home. Although some people would prefer the yellow glow from incandescent bulbs, fluorescent light can produce the same romantic effect at a more const-effective price. Related to this are lustres which have more or less the same effect as luminaires. Lustres on the other hand focus more on the polished sheen of the material used to give it a certain "luster". Wall lamps and table lamps are perfect ways to use lusters. You have the option to use fluorescent lighting on your luster fixture but incandescent bulbs are also used. With these two types of fixtures, economy and beauty merges quite naturally.

    Make friends online!

Is international friendship possible? Yes it is! Even if you have never met your pen pal before, it is possible that you build a deep, long-term friendship with your penpal; perhaps the same as or even closer friendship than the friends you actually meet and hang around with. Some pen-pallers have actually met their pen pals, and others have been corresponding with their penpals for tens of years. You don't have to always talk about your countries, cultures, just because it is overseas correspondence. You can write to your overseas pen pals like you chat with your friends in your town. You can talk about your hobbies, your work, what happened on the day, and so on. You can seek your pen pal for advice about your life if you think you can rely on him/her. "I have a friend overseas". Does this statement make you feel excited? If so, overseas correspondence is the thing for you!

Improve your language skills or learn new languages. Many people, especially ESL people, start overseas correspondence in order to improve their English or any other foreign languages. Like others, I first started overseas correspondence because of this. Unlike paper tests, you can communicate with real foreign people with the language skills that you learned. There's no markers, and there's no given subjects - you can write whatever you want to let your pen pal know about. Through pen-palling, you will get to enjoy writing in foreign languages (at least much more than paper exams!), therefore your language skills will improve. Even if you correspond with your pen pal in your first language, you will get to know how to organize your thoughts to clearly communicate your ideas to your pen pals on paper so you will be able to increase your written communication skills.

So, if you want to learn for example russian, find a russian girl willing to be your penpal. Learn about foreign countries and cultures. Your overseas pen pals are real people who live in a different country, and they are living everyday life in that country just like you do in yours. That is, they are not the same as the media; the perspective of your pen pal's country from his or her point of view is more of a "first-person" view than of the media. That is, you will get to know about overseas country more directly though your pen pal, and your pen pal can learn from you in the same way. Also, you'll be able to feel closer to the country your pen pal is in than before because you have someone that you "know", even if you have never met her/him. For example, you'll get to watch the news about your pen pal with more interest than before you've started overseas correspondence. If you wondering where to find free penpals visit PenpalsJPG.com
